Open my e mail box today and once again my good friend sent them this. Thought I would share it with you all. Thought it was great.
"I think it should be explained in the brochure that the local store does not sell proper biscuits like custard creams or ginger nuts."
"On my holiday to Goa in India , I was disgusted to find that almost every restaurant served curry. I don't like spicy food at all."
A woman threatened to call police after claiming that she'd been locked in by staff. When in fact, she had mistaken the "do not disturb" sign on the back of the door as a warning to remain in the room.
"The beach was too sandy."
"We found the sand was not like the sand in the brochure. Your brochure shows the sand as yellow but it was white."
"We bought 'Ray-Ban' sunglasses for five Euros (£3.50) from a street trader, only to find out they were fake."
"No-one told us there would be fish in the sea. The children were startled."
"It took us nine hours to fly home from Jamaica to England it only took the Americans three hours to get home."
"I compared the size of our one-bedroom apartment to our friends' three-bedroom apartment and ours was significantly smaller."
"There are too many Spanish people. The receptionist speaks Spanish. The food is Spanish. Too many foreigners." (related to a vacation spent in Spain)
"We had to queue outside with no air conditioning."
"It is your duty as a tour operator to advise us of noisy or unruly guests before we travel."
"I was bitten by a mosquito - no-one said they could bite."
"The brochure stated: 'No hairdressers at the accommodation'. We're trainee hairdressers - will we be OK staying here?"
Thanks Jackie this is cute.

Nice thought for Friday!
With time women gain weight. We accumulate so much information & wisdom in our heads that when there is no more room, it distributes out to the rest of our body. So we aren't heavy, we are enormously cultured, educated & happy. Beginning today, when I look at my belly in the mirror I will think- "good grief look how smart I am, I must be a genius!!" ~

You wonder where kids come up with things?
You wonder where kids come up with so many cute things. But, when they talk to you they are so serious they don't even crack a smile.
Today, Wolf Daughter and I were out walking and ran into the little boy next door. His mother told him to close the door he looked at her with the most serious face.
Mom: Please shut the door son.
Son: Mom you might think I was born yesterday, but I wasn't I was born 4 years ago.
Mom: No Son, just please close the door.
Son: Then you probably think I was born in the barn.
Mom: No Son I don't
Son: I wasn't I was born in the hospital.
Oh My Stars I thought I was going to wet my pants. I was trying not to laugh. Wolf Daughter and I went on walking laughing our heads off.
Things that come out of the mouths of babies.

Always want what we can't have!
You know we adults are here trying to teach our children to do this and do that and do it right and then we turn around and do something we know we shouldn't do.
What I am talking about is on Friday, Texas got a lot of ice and it was on the road. The weather man was telling us for days to get ready for this one. Yea I know sometimes its hard to believe them but when they came down to the last day and said we had no way getting out this one. Why? can't you get ready for it? I don't understand.
There were 100's of wreck through out the state. WHY? One, people don't know how to drive in this stuff down here. Two, we don't have the equipment and stuff to clear the roads.
Now the weather man told everyone what time it was suppose to hit and when it hit it would come down as ice so a lot of the roads would be close.
They closed all schools, government offices, libraries, garbage pick up and that stuff a day before the storm so everyone could get ready.
Did everyone get ready? NO They all ( well guess I can't say all) but a lot of them waited till the last minute to run to the store to get stuff just case the weather man was right and then when they got out of the store sure enough the weather man was right. Now they were stuck. Or they got in there car and try to drive away and that's what cause a lot of wrecks.
Ok now they were yelling on tv PLEASE don't go anyone if you can help it, all main roads and bridge were close. Well there goes half the state of Texas we have lots of bridge and over passes.
Did people listen? NO! Once again they went sliding to there car, cleaned off the ice then got in and try driving. Ok my thought is if you slid to your car don't think the roads are full of ice. Wow! don't get it. Was watching on the news that night and they were talking to a young couple who wanted to go out for pizza said it took them 20 minutes to clean the car off. He fell 4 times doing it. Don't think you that was telling you something. Must not be. They got in there car and wrecked it.
I know I am lost here. I don't get it. I know we always want what we can't have. I know we hate to be told we can't do something.
It reminds me of young child, if you want them to do something tell them the opposite.
But, I guess my point here is if we are trying to teach our children, we adults need to start listening better. Maybe there wouldn't of been so many wrecks and hurt people if a lot more people would of listen.
Sometimes the grass isn't always greener on the other side.

Woke up to a Ice Storm today!
Well Mother Nature is really having a bad month or winter season. We woke up to over a 1/2 inch of ice all over the places. Roads close and bridges all over the South. Nothings open. 100's of accident all over the city. People still thinking they have to get out. I understand some do have to work but if you do please drive slowly and take your time. Leave a little early if you have too. Down here in the South we don't have the equipment to remove the stuff.
The police officer and rescue people are working has hard as they can. I heard there are people stuck in there cars and hurt but the rescue people can't get to them, there are just to many accidents and not enough of them. So, for everyone's safety please stay off the road unless its a emergency. This will clear up and we all will be able to get out soon. The sun is suppose to come out soon. Stay home and enjoy time with your family, with a good movie or book.
Here's what we woke up too. Not in my back yard. But, down the street.
down the road a bit. I think the trees look so pretty when walk outside and listen you can hear little crackling sounds coming from all the ice. Its pretty but very dangerous. Hope all the trees and plants down here make it. There not use or meet for this kind of weather.
another one: was wondering if they left the sprinkler on. If not this poor tree is full. I think alot of people and plants are praying and waiting for Mr. Sun Man to come out from behind the clouds soon.

They said they Hate being Homeschool!
Yesterday we were doing school when I got home from work and the girls look at Daddy Wolf and I and said we hate being homeschool. Man my heart just fell to the floor. I looked at them a second later but seem like a hour and said what? Oldest Wolf Daughter is almost done what you talking about. They said no you took it wrong. I said I hope so. They said the reason they hate homeschool is because they never get Snow Days, Martin Luther King Day, or Teacher Days off.
Wow after Daddy Wolf and I heard that we just looked at each other smile at each other in a sign of relief. I looked at both Wolf Daughter's and said but we take other days off when other kids are in school and do things we want with out tons of others around and don't have to fight the crowd and they agree. LOL
I am glad it wasn't nothing big.

Wow! Its cold in the South!
Old Man winter must be mad at us. Or Mother Nature is one or the other. Wow! Woke up to some very cold temps. outside can't believe it. It was 28 degrees when I open my front door and with the winds blowing like they were it made it feel like 12 outside. Now that is cold for us Southern people. We just aren't ready for it. Not only us but our plants they are tropical not meet for cold temps.
But, we will turn on the heat, put on some clothes, stay warm.
And hope our wonderful friends and family up north stay warm and safe. Heard they are getting hit with not only cold temps but tons of snow.
