You can pick your house, but not your neighbors.

That is so true. You can pick out a house you love and want so bad.  But, you can't pick your neighbors unless you are way out in the country.

I don't get our neighbor and never will.  We have lived her for a while now and Oldest Wolf Daughter was learning to drive. We ask her nicely one time to please move her van up little so Wolf Daughter could back out but no she had to leave it right in the middle of her drive way and Wolf Daughter back right into. Ok, its done right well thats not the whole story. We went to the house to let them know what we did  it took them awhile to come out. We call our insurance company got it taken care of so we thought then a week later our insurance company called to tell us she was suing us saying she was hurt in the van. WHAT she wasn't in it and we had pictures.

She got so mad at us for not letting us sue our insurance she has made living her hell.  Yes, I mean hell.   First I will not lie for anyone if she was hurt I would of been more then glad to pay for it. But, she wasn't in the van.  Women what is wrong with you.

Second don't go around passing roamers about me or my family. Its been hard I mean hard to go outside, her and her wonderful husband live in the garage I mean live in it. They are up early and out late smoking and drinking.  Every time we come out for anything they stare us down or give us the finger.

What is wrong with people now days?  Don't they have a life

Oceans!

Today we had to go to the next big town and in order to do that we have to cross the big bridge which takes us over the ocean.

Well while we were going over it the wolf daughters said look mom the ocean is green today. Why is that?

I said I really don't know why some days it looks really green, others it looks blue, and some days it looks brown.

Then bingo a light went off in our heads.  What a wonderful school project for youngest wolf daughter to look up and write a paper about.

Thats the joys of homeschooling every thing you see and do turns into school.  You sometimes wonder if you can every do anything with out school in it.

My answer is no.  We are leaving something new every day.  So, now we got another project to work on. I need to get busy and help wolf daughter with school.

Midnight Summer Dream!

Youngest Wolf Daughter will start reading midnight summers dream soon.   Oldest Wolf Daughter had a hard time getting through it but loved it in the end.

Its one of those stories that are hard to stay on track with.  Thinking with youngest wolf daughter to get the book on tape to help her with it.  She is not a big reader and I know this story will really make her not want to read, so I am trying to make it easier for her.

Anyone have ideas I need them.

Wow where did the years go?

I know I posted something like this before, but today it seem so real.  Where did all the years go?

Oldest Wolf Daughter left the doors for college.   Wow, I remember just a few years ago she was so tiny they were taking her out of my arms and flying her to another hospital. I cried then and I cried today.

I am sad to see her go. But, happy to see her spread her wings and go see other things.

Good luck Wolf Daughter, remember we are here for you.  Love you tons.

I get ask these question alot about homeschooling.

Now that oldest wolf daughter has finish school, I been ask these question alot.

How did you do?   Well she was a joy to teach and it was fun. We all were learning at the same time.

Did they drive you nuts being with them all the time  24/7,  I look forward to when school starts up again.   Well that is two part question.  On the first part NO she didn't drive me nuts.  She is my daughter I enjoyed watching her grow and learn with me there.  I enjoyed the laughs, tears, scream and fun time we had together.    Second part to this question: I never look forward to her going she is so much fun.   I guess we all are different.

Now this question is the one I get ask alot I have a two year old who is smart, what books do I get for him/her to start school?  My thought on this one I know alot of you wouldn't like but hey we all have our opinions..   Everyone's kid is smart in one way or another.  I have never meet a dumb kid.  I have meet kids that can do something different then other kids but that don't make them smarter then another kid.  Remember God made us all different and we all do something different and better in our own way.   About the books I would never waste any money on a child till they are of school age.  First of all kids need to be kids.  We need to let them use there imagination and there toys.   One of the things you can do is READ and Read some more.  Children learn alot from being read too.   If you still want them to work on paper there is so many website out there for free preschool down loads.   Or go to the dollar tree they have tons of little preschool books for them to work with.   But, my big thing is let them be kids, they will have plenty of time to school. Don't burn them out before they start.  They have 13 years of school ahead of them.

Differnet in each State!

Traveling through the different states I notice a big different of those who care and those who don't.

I always told Daddy Wolf you don't have to be rich to pick up your trash and put it in a bag and put it out for the garbage man to come and get it.  I know it takes a little work but it doesn't cost money.

I don't look at people for what they wear, what they drive, or what they live in.  I don't think that makes a person one way or another. I look to see how clean they are. If they shower and take care of the things that are important to them.

Believe me in our days of traveling I meet alot of neat and wonderful people.  Some were rich others weren't but I didn't favor them over the other.

Florida,  was a very pretty state the landscaping was out of this world. The flowers and trees were so pretty and there never any trash on the side of the road.   I know they are tourist state but they do keep it up.   Still to hot for me down there.

Just wish the other states would take a little more pride in there states. I knew it cost money but I notice in  Florida they had there prisoners out there doing that work.  Lets give them work too. Let  them pay room and board like the rest of us do.
