So sad when you see people lose it.

Very Very Sad when you see some one you know and love losing there mind.

Today I went with a really good friend to the doctor. She had to come over by me and she brought her mother as she can't stay alone as she is losing her mind.  She is a very sweet little old lady who would do anything for anyone and has.  The sad thing is she is losing her mind. She can't remember alot of things and repeats and repeats her self over and over again. In a hour she will tell you the same story 20 times or more and act like she never told you the story before..

She is the sweeties lady I meet in along time.   We have been friends with the whole family for over 20 years, this is so hard to see and watch.

One good thing about it is she has a great about it and laughs at everything.  Even when her daughter told her Mama you told me that already she just laughs and finishes her story up.

She told me today it doesn't do any good crying about it you might as well just laugh.

Wow I thought about that on the way home after I left them today and she is right. Why cry about it? Its not going to help you might as well laugh about it.

Time sure does fly!

Sitting this morning working on youngest wolf daughters lesson plans and getting everything around so when she gets up we can hit the books hard.

Sure can't believe this is the last year for her. She will be done in Nov. 2012 or earlier.  Wow! Where did the time go.

I remember when I started homeschooling both Wolf Daughters and there were days I wonder what I got myself into.  Now I am wondering what am I going to do with myself when they both are finish with school.  Where did the time go?  It seem just like yesterday we were starting not finishing up.

Its been a wonderful road we travel together.  Yes there were days you wonder but don't you wonder with every job you do.  I have more happy times then I do bad ones.   We did so much together and grew so close together.

I learn right along with them each and every day.

Well I do have time to think, but the way time goes I know it wouldn't be long I need to think what am I going to do when they both go to college?

Who is a teacher??

From A School Principal's speech at a graduation..
He said "Doctor wants his child to become a doctor.........
Engineer wants his child to become engineer......
Businessman wants his ward to become CEO.....
BUT a teacher also wants his child to become one of them..!!!!
Nobody wants to become a teacher BY CHOICE" ....Very sad but that's the truth.....!!!
The dinner guests were sitting around the table discussing life.
One man, a CEO, decided to explain the problem with education. He argued,
"What's a kid going to learn from someone who decided his best option in life was to become a teacher?"
To stress his point he said to another guest;
"You're a teacher, Bonnie. Be honest. What do you make?"
Teacher Bonnie, who had a reputation for honesty and frankness replied,
"You want to know what I make?
(She paused for a second, then began...)
"Well, I make kids work harder than they ever thought they could.
I make a C+ feel like the Congressional Medal of Honor winner.
I make kids sit through 40 minutes of class time when their parents can't
make them sit for 5 min. without an I Pod, Game Cube or movie rental.
You want to know what I make ?
(She paused again and looked at each and every person at the table)
I make kids wonder.
I make them question.
I make them apologize and mean it.
I make them have respect and take responsibility for their actions.
I teach them how to write and then I make them write.
Keyboarding isn't everything.
I make them read, read, read.
I make them show all their work in math.
They use their God given brain, not the man-made calculator.
I make my students from other countries learn everything they need
to know about English while preserving their unique cultural identity.
I make my classroom a place where all my students feel safe.
Finally, I make them understand that if they use the gifts they
were given, work hard, and follow their hearts, they can succeed in life
( Bonnie paused one last time and then continued.)
Then, when people try to judge me by what I make , with me knowing money isn't everything, I can hold my head up high and pay no attention because they are ignorant. You want to know what I make ?
I MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN ALL YOUR LIVES, EDUCATING KIDS AND PREPARING THEM TO BECOME CEO's, AND DOCTORS AND ENGINEERS..........
What do you make Mr. CEO?
His jaw dropped; he went silent.
THIS IS WORTH SENDING TO EVERY PERSON YOU KNOW. Even all personal teachers like mother, father, brother, sister, coach and spiritual leader/teacher

Well this morning we got up here at Wolf Bay High and decide we would try our hands at making our own stuff french toast.   We have go out and had it but never really cared for it.

Next time going to add some kind of berries to the cream cheese mixture.

Worry!

Are you one of those people that worry about everything?  Well I am and I wish I could change. I try so hard. I am so glad I have a wonderful and very supportive hubby who is there all the time to hug me and tell me not worry.

I worry about the weather.  Now like I can do anything about it right.

I worry about my daughters and hope nothing but the best for them.

I worry about my wonderful hubby and his health alot.  He has had two rounds of cancer everytime he gets sick guess what I do worry thinking the worst.

I worry about people in other country and wish I could do more.

I don't know why I worry I just remember thats all I ever done. I don't know if its because I had so much in my young life to worry. My father was a drinker and beat my mother alot and that bother me.  I worried every day if he would come home early or come home drunk.

Then my father pass nothing to do with drinking at  young age. I was 15 it tore me apart.  I loved my father and looked up to him alot and did alot with him.  I remember several talks we had.  I worried after his death what are going to do we are 5 miles in the country my mother don't drive, there is 6 of us under the age of 15 at home yet.

Then a few months after my father's passing,  sister that I was very close to passed away swimming in the pool that just tore me up. We did everything I mean everything together.  We shared a bedroom and had many talks.   Its was so hard I didn't know if I could go on or not.

I worried every time some one got sick or did anything would they live or die.

I just wish I could get over this worry and get on with my life.  So, for 2012 I am going to try and relax more and remember the good times and try so hard not worry about what could happen tomorrow.

Getting lesson plans around!

Been a busy last two days going to take the rest of the day and tomorrow off then we will hit back at it and back to school we go.

Getting youngest wolf daughters lesson plans together.  Doing alot for biology its a  hard subject I like to do alot of hands on I feel you learn easier that way and understand it. Anyway we do so I am gathering all the things we need for the hands on stuff and all the books to go with it.

Getting math material around someone ask me the other day if we let the wolf daughters use calculator and the answer is yes sometimes. First they have to show us they can do it with out the calculator then we will let them check there problems.   That way we know they can do it if there isn't a calculator around.   Like one time baby wolf daughter ask daddy wolf if she could have some velcro shoes to wear he told her if you can show me you can tie I will buy you a pair of velcro shoes.

Then we went and sign oldest wolf daughter up for spring course at the college.  We are so excited she got a scholarship it wasn't a big one but hey every little bit helps.   She got it for having a 4.0 GPA.

Decide to clean up!

Well we decided before we start school again to clean up Wolf Bay High and give away all the clothing and other items we don't use or need anymore.

We decide if they been in the closets in box for along time I guess we don't need them. There are things you keep for memories but these aren't it.

They just left with a truck load stuff to good will another load when they come home.

The feeling of a New Year and giving the stuff away to others that can use it.   We are giving away things that only in good shape. Things that are torn or broken are going to the trash.

Decide lets start the New Year out right at Wolf Bay High cleaning and giving things away and we also decide we will not be a door mat any more to people.

We will gladly help those that need and thanks us.  But, we will not be door  mats to others.

Time to start out a New Year fresh, clean and happy.

Happy New Year to all my blogging friends and families...
