Replacement Windows

REPLACEMENT WINDOWS

Last year I replaced all the windows in my house with
that expensive
double-pane energy efficient kind, and today, I got a call from the
contractor who installed them. He was complaining that the work had
been completed a whole year ago and I still hadn't paid for them.
bobbie
Hellloooo,............just because I'm blonde doesn't mean that I am
automatically stupid. So, I told him just what his fast talking sales
guy had told me last year, that in ONE YEAR these windows would
pay for themselves! Helllooooo? It's been a year! I told him.
There was only silence at the other end of the line, so
I finally just hung up. He never called back. I bet he felt like an idiot.

Cool Days are coming!

Woke up the last couple of mornings with some temps in the 60's  loving it..  Really feeling like fall.

Wolf Daughters are wanting to do more outside.  Took school out to the back yard yesterday and let the kitty run while were studying.

It was nice sitting there and not over heating in five minutes and running for shade.

Nice to not hear the a/c running so much. I am sure my bill will like it.. Its been running it seems like forever.

Open all windows just to change the air around in the house. Love doing that once in awhile.

I remember when we lived up north.  The Wolf daughters were sick a lot went to doctor one time and he said I don't care what the temps are outside you should open windows once a week for 10 to 20 minutes to change the air in the house.  I have done it every since.   Love the change.  Makes everything smell so good.

Happy Fall!

Wow! They grow up fast.

I know I have said this before and will say it again and it is true...

Children grow up fast.  No matter what you do to slow them down it don't work. Time does fly and its scary.  One minute they are little tiny babies in your arms, needing you for everything, the next they are up walking, talking and doing everything with out.

I was one of the lucky ones that got to homeschool my children.   Thanks Daddy Wolf for all your hard work so I could stay home with the Wolf Daughters.  Because believe me if I wouldn't of been able too. I think I would of been really sad.

I really enjoy the Wolf Daughters and all the time we had together.  I know they will get on with life grow up and have a beautiful family of there own some day. But, I enjoy all the wonderful times we had learning together, playing together, crying together, laughing together.   There were so many wonderful memories made.

So, if you have a day or two with not much on your plate take it and be with your children.  Before you blink your eyes they will be grown up and gone.

I know I have told myself and many people this.. Sometimes you just don't want to do something but just tell yourself you will be happy once you took the time to be with them, in a blink they wouldn't need you.

Apple Crumble Pie!

Well since fall wouldn't come to me.  I thought I would try and make it come in my mind.

Today we made Apple Crumble Pie.  Oh my stars it taste so good and turn out so well.  The house smelled like fall for awhile anyway.

Now if I could just drop the temps. it would be great.

Today was  rare day for us. Since Oldest Wolf Daughter started college she is not home much. But, today she was so we of course decide to keep school going.  We got out the fall Taste of Home Cookbook and found this pie.  Apple Crumble Pie.

We even made the crust from scratch which is rare for us.. But, everything turn out well.  Now only if this will bring the fall weather I will bake more.
